POSITION: FIELD SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE - CONTROLS 
REPORTS TO:  GENERAL MANAGER

Summary:
Articulate professional with ability to handle multiple project activities simultaneously. Interface with APM Speciality Services management and customer. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This position requires that the individual is able to perform each of the duties and responsibilities listed below:
Provide customers with technical direction and support on GE Packaged products or other non-GE products, including hands on maintenance/operation and repair of these products.

Basic understanding of gas turbine operations.

Read and interpret electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams.

Working knowledge and understanding of PLC ladder logic, including basic understanding of how to navigate thru ladder rungs while troubleshooting.

General knowledge of turbine instrumentation calibration, including various types of transmitters.

Work with hand tools and specialized test equipment; carry equipment up and down stairs.

Complete standard service reports, invoicing packages and other administrative requirements.

Drive customer satisfaction through commitment to quality.

Work inside and outside in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time.

Provide on-going project overview reports and final project report as directed by APM Speciality Services General Manager.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.

Motivated and driven with a high degree of integrity and work ethic.

Meets the physical demands of the job including working in awkward positions and exposure to noise, dust, heat and cold – able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Continual interface with APM Speciality Services management and customer.

Administrative functions as required by APM Speciality Services.

Adhere to customer/plant rules and regulations.

Qualifications
Possess a minimum of high school diploma and at least ten years of project experience.
Five + years of experience with gas turbine equipment.
Desired:
*Experience w/high voltage controls, protective systems.
*Experience w/Woodward Micronet, GE MarkV and MarkVI Controls.
*Experience working with RTD’s, pressure switches and other assorted field devised used to
  monitor gas turbine operation.
*Experience working on GE LM package equipment.
