Position: Field Blade Technician Coordinator
Reports to:
Performance Services Manager
Summary:
Coordinate
manpower, tooling, and day-to-day operations of field blade projects for
successful execution of projects. Manage tooling, shipping, and purchasing for
these projects. Interface with field
personnel, vendors, and APM Speciality Services management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position requires that the individual is able to perform each of the duties and responsibilities listed below:
- Coordinator labor for field
blade projects as requested by APM Speciality Services.
- Annual certification training
through APM Speciality Services.
- Responsible for administrative functions to meet the needs and requirements of APM Speciality Services including but not limited to the following items:
- Provide project order form to open new projects.
- Maintain individual project files for each project; tracking manpower, purchases, tooling, shipments, and all other pertinent information relative to each project.
- Provide approved requisition
form (per policy) to designated sourcing person.
- Submit complete pro forma
billing packet to division office upon jobs completion.
- Submit ideal time charges to
payroll insuring correct job, phase and hours are accurate.
- Manage tooling requests and
shipments.
- Responsible for the procurement
of purchases and adherence to the processes/policies that accompany these
duties.
- Provide project updates, status,
issues and/or concerns to APM Speciality Services performance service manager.
- Coordinate field blade training
as directed.
- Interface with field personnel,
vendors, and APM Speciality Services.
- Working knowledge of computer
software; word processing and spreadsheets.
- Maintains a valid passport and
the ability to travel as required.
- OEM trained or attends required
training as project dictates.
- Possesses a minimum of a high
school diploma and a machinist background.
